DIANA VALENCIA

Diana was born in Jakarta, 1997. Diana grew up in a family that values books so much and it made her falling in love with storytelling and the art of writing story. After completed high school in Strada Saint Thomas Aquino Tangerang in 2015, she continued study Communication Science with a minor in Multimedia Journalism in Multimedia Nusantara University Tangerang. College life was challenging but still not fade away Diana’s determination to be a journalist. So, she applied for intern-journalist in CNN Indonesia.com (2018) and Kompas Daily Newspaper (2019). She also selected as Banten Language Ambassador in 2017 to released her concern about the importance for the younger generation to speak national language. She graduated with distinction (cum laude) in 2019.
Kompas TV is her first home and currently learning at CNN Indonesia TV. She started her journalism career in September 2019 and until now still working as a reporter; covering for daily news on various issues, especially politics. In a spare time, you can find Diana sneaking in a quite café or maybe her own room with her books and coffee. She also loves taking videos with her phone and upload it to Instagram story, but surely dreamed to be a professional videographer who has a great taste of visual, um maybe just like Linus Sandgren (La La Land) or Robert Yeoman (The Grand Budapest).
